UST ends Blue Shuttlers’ winning streak

In week three of seniors badminton, Ateneo swept the UE Red Warriors, 5-0, last Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Badminton Halls.

The Boys in Blue came into their games focused and confident. In the second doubles game, UE put up a fight getting the first set, 20-22. But Raphael Sanchez played comeback kid in the second pummeling UE 21-9. Sanchez bagged the tie-breaking set 21-17.

Ateneo faces Adamson next Saturday as they play for a spot in the finals.
