Lady Shuttlers down 0-4

The Ateneo de Manila Lady Shuttlers played their hearts out on the court despite losing this week to Adamson, 2-3 and to University of the East 1-4.

The women’s badminton team committed error after error and gave up one too many points to their opponents.

In Saturday’s match against Adamson, Jaimee Calacday won the second set to stretch the game. She was down 16-20 in the third set, but rallied from behind to bag the game.

Meanwhile, team captain Carla Lizardo gave the Lady Eagles their lone win against a strong UE team.

Ateneo has yet to win a game in the women’s badminton tournaments.
